Multi-Level Deck Builders Across Buda, Kyle, and South Austin
Majestic Deck Builders Austin designs and builds multi-level, view-oriented, and pool decks across Buda, Kyle, Driftwood, Wimberley, and the broader Austin metro. Trex Pro certified installer, with TimberTech and cedar options. Fully insured, 1,000+ completed projects since 2016.
Sloped Buda lot? Kyle’s backyard with a pool, you want surrounded? Driftwood acreage where the view does half the work? Multi-level decks are our lane. Every project starts with a free site walk before we draw a line.
We build composite decks with Trex Pro as our primary system, with TimberTech available for premium specs. Cedar and pressure-treated when wood’s the right call. The material choice depends on your sun exposure, view orientation, and how your family will actually use the space. We’ll walk you through the trade-offs in person.
Since 2016, we’ve completed more than 1,000 deck projects across Central Texas. Same crew from foundation to final railing. Fully insured. Our permit partners handle the paperwork for permitted builds, so you don’t have to chase signatures or schedule inspector visits. Read recent project reviews for context on how the build actually goes.
What We Build
Our work spans five primary new-deck installation services across South Austin and Hays County, plus full repairs and maintenance, commercial builds, and rooftop builds. Multi-level construction leads. Composite material expertise anchors. Pool deck design sets us apart from contractors who treat surrounds as a finishing afterthought. Our full build process walks through every phase from the site walk to the final inspection.
Multi-Level Decks
Two-tier, three-tier, and transitional designs for sloped lots across Buda, Kyle, Driftwood, and the Hill Country fringe. Each tier is sized for its actual use: upper dining over lower lounging, lower lounging over pool surround, scaled to how your family will use the space. Stair stringer geometry and tier transitions are designed concurrently with the deck footprint. Learn more about multi-level decks.
Composite Decks
Trex Pro composite is our primary system. We’re Trex Pro certified installers, with TimberTech available for premium specs. Capped polymer surface withstands Hays County sun and rain cycles, where wood fails first at the fastener line. Color and pattern selection are sized to your design palette. Manufacturer warranty registration handled at install.
Pool Deck Design and Build
Surround design with slip-resistant composite, multi-level pool deck integration, and wraparound configurations. Composite handles chlorine and salt exposure better than wood. Designed for daily use, not just photo day. See pool deck options, including resurfacing for existing concrete or wood surrounds.
Custom Deck Design and Build
Site walk first, then design around your view orientation, entertaining flow, and the actual elevation change of your lot. No default templates. Drawings, material samples, and a material trade-off walk-through take place during the consultation. Start with a custom design consultation before any pricing is provided.
Cedar Deck Installation
Premium cedar species, hidden fastener systems, and flashing detail for Hays County moisture cycling. For clients who want a wood deck done right. Cedar deck builds hold up across Central Texas climate cycles when the build details are handled correctly. Pressure-treated and redwood are available where cedar isn’t the best fit for the design intent.
Why Majestic
Built for Sloped Hays County Terrain
Deck Repair and Maintenance. We handle repair work on failing ledgers, rotted boards, and structural problems that show up after a decade in Texas weather. Scheduled maintenance on a planned cadence catches small issues early. Cedar refinishing, inspection, and full replacement when needed, all in-house.
Composite-First Material Expertise
Beyond New Builds. We handle commercial deck projects for multi-family, restaurant, and hospitality clients, built to load and ADA standards. Rooftop deck installations on flat-roof homes use engineered load assessment and pedestal-paver systems.
Same Crew From Foundation to Final Railing
Built for Sloped Hays County Terrain. Most Austin deck builders don’t lead with multi-level construction. We do. Our team handles two-tier, three-tier, and wraparound builds across sloped Buda, Kyle, and Driftwood lots where the grade drop is a feature, not a problem. The way the lot falls drives the design, not the other way around.
Fully Insured, Permit Partners Handle Paperwork
Composite-First Material Expertise. Trex Pro certified installer. The credential matters because it provides our clients with access to the Trex enhanced warranty and confirms that we’ve completed Trex’s installer training program. TimberTech is in our project portfolio for premium specs where the design calls for it. We’ll show you the actual differences in sun, moisture, and traffic performance across our completed builds, not from a manufacturer’s brochure. The right composite for your lot depends on more than color preference, and we’ll explain why at the site walk.
Where We Build
Same Crew From Foundation to Final Railing. You’ll meet the lead carpenter at the site walk, and you’ll see the same crew through to the final inspection. No subcontractor handoffs mid-build. The crew lead is your point of contact throughout the project, and they’ll answer questions about flashing details or stair geometry on-site rather than relay them through the office.
Fully insured, permit partners handle paperwork. General liability and workers’ compensation coverage are current. Our permit partners file the paperwork when a permit is required across Austin, Travis County, and Hays County jurisdictions, so you don’t chase signatures or schedule inspector visits.
We’re anchored in South Austin and Hays County. Buda and Kyle are our primary city footprint, where the bulk of our multi-level work happens.
Driftwood and Wimberley extend our coverage into the southern Hill Country. The premium custom market here favors view-oriented multi-level builds where the lot configuration justifies tier separation.
Manchaca and the South Austin corridor round out the Hays-adjacent coverage. The Hays County soil profile and Hill Country grade drops drive most of our multi-level work, and the housing stock here (newer construction with steeper lot configurations) is where our build approach fits best.
Additional Hays-corridor coverage includes Sunset Valley and San Marcos, where premium lot configurations are common.
Mountain City rounds out the small-community Hays County coverage at the southern edge of the lane.
We also serve a broader Austin. Round Rock and Cedar Park shift toward flat-lot custom builds, where the grade drop is smaller than on typical Hays County lots.
Georgetown and Pflugerville coverage tends toward pool deck integration on newer-construction backyards where the original build often included an in-ground pool.
Leander rounds out the broader metro footprint to the northwest, where multi-level work occurs on the steeper Hill Country-adjacent lots.
Frequently Asked Questions
What sets Majestic apart from other deck builders in Austin?
Three things: multi-level construction is our lead service, not a sub-feature. Trex Pro certified installer credential, which gives our clients access to Trex’s enhanced warranty and confirms we’ve completed Trex’s training program. And we’re anchored in South Austin and Hays County, so we know the soil, the HOAs, and the grade drops on sloped lots better than a generalist working from Austin proper.
Do you build multi-level decks for sloped Hays County lots?
Yes. Multi-level construction is our lead service category. Two-tier, three-tier, transitional decks for Buda, Kyle, Driftwood, and the Hill Country fringe. The grade drop on a sloped lot drives the tier design. We start with a site walk to measure the actual elevation change and discuss how you’ll use each tier before any drawings happen.
What composite deck materials do you install?
Trex Pro is our primary composite system. We’re Trex Pro certified installers, which gives our clients access to Trex’s enhanced warranty and means our crew has completed Trex’s installer training program. TimberTech is available as a premium secondary spec where the design calls for it. Each handles Hays County’s sun and moisture cycling differently. Capped composite resists moisture intrusion along the fastener line, where wood decks fail first. Samples were brought to every site walk.
How do you handle pool deck builds?
Pool deck design and build is one of our five primary services. Composite around water handles chlorine and salt exposure better than wood. We design the surrounding geometry based on how you actually use the pool, integrate multi-level configurations where the lot allows, and select slip-resistant surface textures. Pool deck resurfacing for existing concrete or wood surrounds is also available.
Are you licensed and insured?
Texas does not license deck builders, so anyone claiming a deck builder license is either misinformed or using shorthand for general contractor licensure (which deck-specific work doesn’t require). We are fully insured with general liability and workers’ compensation coverage. Certificates of insurance can be issued directly to HOAs or permitting offices before work begins.
Do you serve Buda, Kyle, and the Hays County area?
Yes. Buda, Kyle, Driftwood, Wimberley, Manchaca, Sunset Valley, San Marcos, and Mountain City are our primary lanes and the bulk of our portfolio. Most of our multi-level and pool deck work happens in this southern corridor, where lot grade drops and Hill Country views drive design. We also serve the broader Austin area, including Round Rock, Cedar Park, Georgetown, Pflugerville, and Leander, where the work shifts toward flatter-lot custom builds.
