Do you handle permits?
When your deck needs a permit, we coordinate it through trusted permit partners, so you don’t have to deal with the paperwork yourself. Projects inside city limits go through the City of Austin residential building permits process. We’ll tell you at the site visit whether your project is likely to need one, and we’ll build the schedule around it.
Should I choose composite or wood decking?
Composite from Trex, TimberTech or Fiberon needs less upkeep and holds up well in the Texas sun. Cedar and pressure-treated lumber usually cost less upfront and have a natural look, but they need staining and sealing to stay sound. We’ll bring samples to the site visit and explain the trade-offs for your lot, your shade and how you’ll use the deck.
